01 Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines acceptable practices regarding the use of BahariHost services, networks, IP ranges, virtual private servers, and web hosting platforms. It applies to all customers, end-users, and third parties accessing our network.
Our mission is to maintain a high-reputation, ultra-fast BDIX and international hosting ecosystem. Any activity that jeopardizes server stability, IP reputation, or datacenter integrity is strictly prohibited.
02 Strictly Prohibited Activities
BahariHost enforces a Zero-Tolerance Policy for malicious, illegal, or abusive operations. The following activities will lead to instantaneous, unannounced service suspension:
- Phishing & Deception: Hosting fake banking login pages, government impersonation lures, credential harvesting forms, or fraudulent lottery sites.
- Malware & Exploits: Distributing trojans, keyloggers, rootkits, ransom payloads, webshells, or exploit kits.
- Botnet Control: Operating C2 (Command & Control) nodes, DDoS bot handlers, or credential stuffing runners.
- Unauthorized Access: Port scanning, password brute-forcing, IP spoofing, or unauthorized vulnerability scanning of external networks.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Immediate permanent termination, evidence preservation, and mandatory escalation to law enforcement.
03 Email Spam & Bulk Mailing
To preserve our mail IP ranges (e.g., Mailcow and cPanel Exim clusters) from being blacklisted by Spamhaus, Abusix, or Google:
- Unsolicited Bulk Email (SPAM): Sending unsolicited commercial email, scraped marketing lists, or purchased email databases is strictly forbidden.
- Open Relays: Operating misconfigured mail servers that permit third parties to relay unauthorized email through our network is prohibited.
- Hourly Limits: Shared hosting accounts are subject to outgoing email rate limits (maximum 100 emails per hour per cPanel domain) to curb automated abuse.
04 Network Abuse & DDoS Attacks
BahariHost infrastructure may not be used to launch or amplify network-based cyberattacks:
- Launching UDP flood attacks, SYN floods, NTP/DNS amplification, or layer 7 HTTP flood scrapers.
- Hosting "Booter", "Stresser", or IP-for-hire attack services.
- Operating open recursive DNS resolvers or unauthenticated proxy networks.
05 Resource Abuse & Crypto Mining
Hosting environments are engineered for fair-share computing:
Cryptocurrency Mining Prohibited: Running CPU, GPU, or RAM-intensive cryptocurrency mining algorithms (e.g. Monero, Bitcoin, Ravencoin) is strictly prohibited on all shared hosting and virtual private servers (VPS).
Sustained 100% CPU thread starvation on shared hosting environments or abusive disk I/O operations will result in automatic throttling to protect neighbor tenant performance.
06 Copyright, Trademarks & Digital Piracy
BahariHost respects intellectual property laws and complies with legitimate copyright directives:
- Hosting pirated software ("nulled" scripts, cracked plugins, warez), torrent trackers, or unauthorized video streaming gateways is strictly prohibited.
- Valid DMCA or local copyright complaints submitted with evidence will be forwarded to the client with a 24-hour cure notice. Failure to remediate within 24 hours will result in service suspension.
07 Violations, Forensics & Penalties
BahariHost reserves the exclusive right to determine what constitutes a violation of this Policy:
- Immediate Action: Critical security threats (phishing, malware, DDoS) are suspended immediately without prior notice.
- No Refund Clause: Any service terminated for direct violation of this Acceptable Use Policy forfeits all refund rights and active account balances.
- Abuse Reporting: To report network abuse or phishing hosted on our IP space, contact: [email protected].
